Employee Spotlight: Matt O’Bryan

Meet Matt O’Bryan, our Construction Coordinator! Matt started with us eight years ago and is a Louisville native residing in Mt. Washington, KY. He has a background in the retail side of homebuilding and began his career at 84 Lumber. From there, he learned how to read blueprints and do material take offs.

Since starting in September 2013, Matt has noticed the company’s growth in the past eight years. “We have grown so much in the last eight years, with implementation of our scheduling and purchase order system. This is something the customer will never see but helps us fine tune the building process.”

Known to wear many hats, Matt’s job duties include requesting quotes from our many vendors and subcontractors, negotiating costs and issuing purchase orders. He also reviews and processes invoices, provides internal updates on jobs under construction, and assists our superintendents with job movement.

When not working, Matt can be found enjoying weekends at the lake fishing and playing water sports with his family and friends. Matt also loves chicken wings and would love to one day travel to Australia. Thanks Matt for your dedication to our company. Our whole team recognizes and appreciates your hard work!
