We are thrilled to introduce one of our exceptional team members, Fred, who is crucial in contributing to our Taylor Homes family! We are so proud to have Fred a part of our Team and we’re excited for you to get to know him better.
Background and Work Experience
Originally from Louisville, Fred has traveled across the United States in pursuit of diverse experiences. He holds a Master’s degree from Indiana University Southeast and a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Chinese. Although he doesn’t speak the language fluently anymore, the cultural exposure has greatly enriched his perspective. Before embarking on a career in the construction industry with Taylor Homes, Fred honed his skills in customer service, predominantly within call center environments. The transition to Taylor Homes has been rewarding for him and he much prefers Taylor Homes.
Favorite Part of the Job
For Fred, the ultimate gratification at work comes from successfully resolving receivables. With so many moving parts, overcoming the challenges associated with this task brings him an immense sense of achievement and fulfillment. Likewise, Fred gets gratification from ensuring that our valued Customers, Strategic Partners and his Team get the best service possible; that’s a principal that is well established at Taylor Homes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Fred is responsible for managing accounts receivables, and he works diligently to coordinate with banks, homeowners, and different stakeholders. Additionally, he provides invaluable on-site support to our superintendents, actively contributing to their success.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Fred has a variety of hobbies, including playing Dungeons and Dragons, various video games, and immersing himself in literature. Weekends are often marked by hanging out with friends and grilling.
Dream Destination
With a deep-seated yearning to experience Beijing’s rich history and culture, Fred aspires to set foot in this iconic city and hopefully rekindle his Mandarin language skills.
Culinary Preferences
Fred’s favorite food is pizza. While there’s no specific favorite spot, he finds Wicks to be pretty good.
Family and Personal Qualities
Family holds a special place in Fred’s heart, with his beautiful daughter and lively son being a constant source of joy. His kindness and belief in treating others with empathy and respect embody his best qualities. Fred loves being a part of the Taylor Team. His co-workers are some of the best he has ever had and he genuinely appreciates each and every one of them.
